I..... While driving a BMW..... accidentally cut off an Acura MDX today while going to Taco Bell.

The good news: I used my turn signal. It was on a two lane road and he just merged into the right lane. I had my signal on and he was about 5 car lengths behind me, but as I started getting over he simultaneously started accelerating. I was approaching the turn to Taco Bell, and playing it safe in the heavy rain decided not accelerate. He honked, I slightly accelerated, turned into Taco Bell, shed a few tears into my Quesorito, and continued home....

But it is an MDX, so he's resigned himself to doing anything to not drive a minivan, but still is waiting for his kids to grow up and move out.

Truth: Taco Bell is the only Mexican food that tastes good to me. I've never been to California though, and they say there's good stuff there.

Yeah I've never been on the west coast, hope to go soon. I don't get all the Taco Bell hate. I don't feel like my stomach is gonna explode after eating it, and it tastes good. I always go for chicken while I'm there though.

I've been to Texas and Arizona. Had real Mexican food. It was much, much, much, much better than any chain restaurant "Mexican" food.

Yesterday I committed an act of BMW on BMW road rage. I was in my 135is and got stuck behind an onramp slowpoke in an X3 doing like 40, so rather than wait for his slow ass to merge, I checked to make sure there was no oncoming traffic, flew past him in like 3rd gear, and flipped him the bird. It's my onramp slowpoke reeducation project.

You need to find yourself a proper ratty taqueria. They're everywhere. At least there's a bunch of them here in Madison, which is neither particularly large (250k people) nor particularly diverse (82% white). Embrace the taqueria.

Ugh. I hate slow onramp mergers. I was stuck behind a 911 turbo once, and he was doing 15 below the limit trying to merge. It was maddening.

It's ok, in spite of my love for proper ratty taquerias, I still eat Taco Bell sometimes. Because most of the proper ratty taquerias here in Madison are neither drive-thrus nor open late.

But if it's during normal restaurant hours, I've got my Taqueria El Jalapeno , Tienda y Taqueria Los Gemelos , La Mestiza , Francisco's Mexican Cantina , La Taqueria Hispana , Taqueria Guadalajara , Taqueria Sabor Queretano , and Habanero's Mexican Grill .

In Wisconsin, of all places.

Try looking on Yelp in your town for taquerias. I'm sure there are some near you. If we have that many of them in white bread Wisconsin, they've got to be pretty much anywhere.
